I survived!

There are sometimes that I am happy to live in Canada and today was one of them. For all that we Canadians complain about our healthcare system, I was happy to have it today when I went in for my nasal surgery. We have clean, well-stocked hospitals staffed by professional and competent people. And it's free!

I had to be at the hospital by 7:20 and I was on my way home by 4 PM! Almost everything is done in day surgery these days. It's amazing. My Mom says that soon they'll have drive-through windows like Tim Hortons! Well, I doubt that but I see her point.

So I finally got home, had something to eat and a nap and now I feel much better. My nose is still bleeding a little but, hopefully, my problem will be fixed and I won't get a terrible sinus infection everytime I get a cold or the flu . Having to take antibiotics too often is not a good thing.

I'm glad to read your comments and it's good to hear that you will join the blog group - but I don't see anything on your blogs! I'll check again tomorrow!

Hello Shannon,
I hope that you feel better now. I agree with you that Canada has a good health care, but the only problem is that they don't have enough doctors.
Take care Shannon
with love
Negar
