Charting Your own Course

This was an interesting idiom we read in our reading text today. The man we read about was very independent and he planned his own way to learn and grow. He didn't depend on other people to do all the work for him. He worked hard and always chappenged himself. I think he is a great role model. It is too easy to always expect others to teach and lead us. Perhaps we need to become more independent. As Diyar always says, "I am responsible for my own learning."
