Christmas is Closer Than We Think

I started my Christmas baking on the weekend. I always make special decorated cookies and candies to give to friends at Christmas. It's a tradition. Now my daughter wants to learn how to do these things. In previous years, I've had a lot of time to spend at home but this year time is harder to find. So, it was good to make all our gingerbread cookies and sugar cookies. Then I put them in the freezer. I'll take them out and decorate them with special icing and candies just before Christmas. I feel better now to know that some of that work is done. I also took a lot of time to relax and watch TV so I feel good now and ready to go again!
