Lovely Weekend

On Friday I felt so sick that I let everybody go early and I took the early bus home but it didn't help me much. The early bus takes longer to go near my house and I got home at my usual time. I had a nice relaxing evening and a good sleep. On Saturday, I had a lot of housework to do. I did lots of laundry and got my kids going cleaning the house. In the afternoon, my son went to a birthday party and my daughter and I went to do some shopping. It was nice to spend some time with my daughter alone. It seems that these days I don't have enought time to talk to her. Teenagers really need to know that they can talk to their parents! On Saturday night, my son went to babysit for a friend of mine so that we could go out for coffee. She has four children. The oldest is five and she is having another baby next month. Sometimes, she really needs to get out of the house and talk to a grown up! On Sunday I went to church and then watched TV and took a nap in the afternoon. My husband took the children out in the afternoon. I should mention that my husband and I are separated. He lives in Calgary but comes to Airdrie every week to see the children.

So now I'm back at work. I feel tired but much better than last Friday! I hope everybody else in the class stays healthy!
