What is the Best Thing About Canada?

What a good question! I'll have to think about that... I think the best thing about Canada is our high standard of living. The United Nations has often said that Canada has the best standard of living in the world. Even our "poor" people live very well. People who want to work can usually find a job somewhere and people who are sick or injured are taken care of by the government. Our new immigrants have money to learn English and, sometimes, they get money to live, too. We are very comfortable here but we don't always appreciate what we have. We grumble and complain about everything. We don't understand how lucky we are. Also, we have a big responsibility to help other people in the world. What's your opinion?
